Awesome

Very good app to learn Japanese from nothing.

This app is the best!

I use this app every day! The games make it fun and easy to learn the words really fast! My only wish is that there was more games, theyre SO FUN!

AMAZING

This app is awesome for learning Japanese! I can speak the numbers fluently like I was born that way! My only complaint is that the game Chipper is confusing there should be a course for learning spelling (if theyre already is well then Im not there yet) this app I would recommend it and its probably the best Japanese app on the App Store thank you bye!

Doesnt work.

Game is waiting to be downloaded.

Cool

A little bit expensive, but very useful. Its a pity that Japanese version has only 8 games, not 9 as others. Cool and very fun app!

Good but...

There needs to be a better way to review "learned" vocabulary. Something like what memrise does, maybe.

Polished and fun

Great for light study to complement a textbook or SRS. Love it.

Good intro Japanese

This app is pretty dope. Its essentially 9 language mini-games in one package. Some are so fun that I play them even when I dont want to learn Japanese. There are different ones that are good for pronunciation, hiragana/katakana, and Kanji recognition. There is no grammar so youll have to learn that some other way, but for learning a few hundred of the basic words in Japanese, this app is great!

Good but...

Most of the games have time limits and that makes it hard to learn. The frog game has no time limit but it is the most boring.

Cant Log In

Cant login. Says verification failed. Cant signup either.

Sound not working

Its a great app and Ive learned a lot, but I cant get the sound to work. I dont know why this is happening. The same thing happened when I downloaded the SAT app. Please fix this :/

I love this…

This app is amazing and I love I have not got the full version yet but planing to but please make one to learn Korean that would be amazing

Stupid

I tried using this app and every time I went to log in it took me to a completely different app

LOVE IT!!

Loooove this app, it looks like its for kids but really its for everyone (im 27). Ive been looking for a fun way to learn japanese and finally!!! For just 5 bucks you can learn sooo much japanese and all while playing games. BRAVO!

One dream

I love this app. I just wish there was a game like "belly" that never ended for going back through words youve mastered. Maybe have a number of lives so its like a survival game or something. However you do it please make it so I can review more without stopping.

Incredible

Extremely user friendly, extremely great way to teach kana and kanji, and its definitely worth it to purchase all Japanese lessons for $5. I love it.

Really Great- Teaches Japanese Well!

This app really helped me on my journey to understand animes without the subtitles. I bought the full version, and Im glad I am. Without it, I think its harder to learn, so I 100% say that you should get the full version if it fits for you. Another good App like this is Human Japanese, but it costs a full $15.00, so I prefer this app. No problem- love the animations!

Its inappropriate

PLZ TAKE OFF THE INAPPROPRIATE STUFF CUZ I CANT DOWNLOAD THE APP IF IT HAS AN INAPPROPRIATE PICTURE IF U TOOK IT OFF THEN ILL RATE IT A 5 STAR RATING THX!

Fun, Quick, Effective!

Try for free to see if it works with your learning style. Its only $5 to unlock all the lessons and VERY worth it!! Instead of fiddling on social media when Im bored, I play games to work on Japanese reading and vocabulary. It has options to study in Romaji, Kana, or Kanji, so whatever level you are at, you can practice! I enjoy learning new vocabulary, and also revisiting vocabulary I know well with Kanji/Kana to improve reading speed and comprehension. This is a great inexpensive app to supplement any Japanese students regime!!

Flashcards for the 21st century!

This app is a really great way to improve your vocabulary and learn some simple phrases. There are several games and each tests you in different ways. Most are timed so that you are encouraged to develop a feel for the words and instead of just converting everything to English and back again. However, they do not penalize you for being slow, so just be patient as you get up to speed. The weak areas are that there is a syllabary for hiragana and katakana (the Japanese symbols used to specify pronunciation) but no training to help you learn reading them individually – only as parts of words. There are no writing exercises. The games also focus heavily on individual words and phrases but not on getting you to synthesize sentences of your own. But the exercises that are there are much better than anything Ive seen. Even Rosetta, which is excellent and more focused on synthesis, is not nearly as polished or fun!
